We all love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, most of us have grown up with it, that's why Activision is a helping hand in the creation of a new game, along with a new cartoon and toys that're set aside.

The word got out when ToyArk was documenting the Playmates Toys booth at the 2012 Toy Fair not too long ago, with quite a bit of in-depth detail. Included in the pictures was a photo containing Playmates marketing plans for the future toy line (photo above, click spoiler button), including "Cross promotions with key licensees, including IDW (which is a comic publisher) and Activision." IDW has previously announced that they're creating new TMNT comic books last year, and Activision's details on the subject are TBA (to be announced).

When it comes to TMNT video games, Activision will be the third game publisher to give the franchise a run for it's money. It all started with Konami, which was the longest lasting publisher starting with Turtles' NES and arcade games from 1989 through 2005's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare. The second publisher would be Ubisoft, which took the title tactically, going off of the computer animated film of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and they created a few more games the following years.

There has not been a word regarding this information brought by the 2012 Toy Fair yet.

HAHA I was thinking the same thing could you imagine how awsome it would be though if it was borderlands style running around as the turtles via coop and bashing the badies in the city and in the sewer... would amazing.

Well hot damn. Now that you say that, the idea of a Borderlands-esque game would be pretty damn interesting
