Looks like the upcoming Medal of Honor game is finally getting a name and date.

This iteration of Medal of Honor will have players once again assume the role of a
Tier 1 Operator. The only date given for release is October 2012, and is going to be
titled Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

The game will be handled by EA's Danger Close studios, and they will also be handling
the Multiplayer portion of the game. In the previous game, DICE was in charge of
multiplayer. However, Danger Close studios will be utilizing DICE's Frosbite 2 engine.

I never played the last MOH but it looked fun and action packed. Tell me what you guys think
about the upcoming game. Are you anticipating it? Or is this another game that you'll have to

didn`t they remove playing as the taliban from the previous Medal of honor? :lol:

Yeah. They handled the situation all wrong though in my opinion. They were afraid of what people/critics
would say and it was removed.

... Idk if ill be interested in this or not yet. Loved the last one after they got done with all the patches... Idk though im hoping its not like battlefield 3 and has some variation this time around instead of being almost a carbon copy of bad company 2 like the previous ones gameplay was.

That was the only thing that turned me away from the first one. It just looked like Bad Company 2 too much for me.

But they're going to release it a couple weeks before the annual cod shit fest so hardly anyone will buy it.

Yeah I was the same way at first I bought it one day when target had a sale on it for like 10$ and I was like eh what the heck cause I had heard the updates had really improved the game and the ppl I heard were right I guess. I enjoyed it far more then than after it launched.... still basically a copy of bad company 2 which I still think is bad company 2>battlefield 3 imo on console. Thats the next game I wanna hear about fps wise is bad company 3.

I might have to look into getting the new one then Hopefully they learned from their mistakes and the gamecan be pretty good off the bat
