Next Tuesday, February 28th, Sony will be releasing the chance for you to play Killzone 3's multiplayer via Playstation Network / Playstation Store. This means anyone with internet access and a Playstation Network account has the opportunity to experience the game's online mode if they haven't already.

According to the latest episode of the PlayStation Blogcast, in an effort to "keep that multiplayer mode out there and active," Sony and Guerrilla Games will release the standalone Killzone 3 multiplayer mode with all of its maps for free.

Announced in the latest episode of Playstation Blogcast, Sony and Guerrilla Games want to keep the Killzone 3 title alive, and their way of doing so was by giving the public what they believe they'd want: Killzone 3 multiplayer mode with all of it's maps... for free!

This means there will be no single player, just multiplayer.

The free-to-play multiplayer mode for Killzone 3 comes with a limitation however, an unidentified level cap. There will be some sort of limitation on what rank players can achieve in free-to-play mode and a limit on the number of skills and unlockable weapons that come with those higher rankings.

If you'd like no limitations when it comes to Killzone 3's multiplayer mode on the Playstation Network, it will cost a total of $14.99 USD.

Are you going to take advantage of this deal?[/color]

I went and bought Killzone 3 the first day it came out. I played it for like 3 hours, and never picked it up again.
