Earlier this week, Twisted Metal was due to recieve a patch to address networking issues.
However, that patch has been stuck in the quality assurance stage.

David Jaffe, boss at Eat Sleep Play, apologized for the patch taking so long to get out of the
quality assurance stage, but says the patch will be soon underway.

“There’s gameplay tuning stuff and balance that I’m just desperate to get to,” he said.“I thought by now we’d be on gameplay patch four, and we’re not, and again I apologise for that. I wish this wasn’t taking so long. I imagine people who paid good money for the game wish that too.”
