Irrational Games, the developers for the creepy, yet entertaining franchise of BioShock has officially announced that a Blu-ray disc version of BioShock 1 will come with the unboxing of their newest title BioShock Infinite, and the classic 2007 title is indeed free. The disc being Blu-ray, only means this bonus is included for Playstation 3 fans only.

In other news on BioShock Infinite's game evangelist Ratana Huot has confirmed the title will be supporting the Playstation Move, however that is as deep as they've given us with information, so more is to be announced.

In November of 2011, frequent visitors of Sony's website probably saw a "special" BioShock Infinite PSMove peripheral, but very soon after that was posted, the company took it down and denied there ever was such a thing, and spoke nothing of it.

Irrational Games Creative Director, Kev Levine, previously announced that there will be Move support for the new BioShock adventure along with your option to purchase it for the newly released PSVita, these announcements were made at E3 2011 in June.

Here are the comments/note-worthy quotes of Kev Levine regarding the PS Move compatible videogame:

"That's because we're still very much in Santa's elves mode on them. But we wanted to make sure we got out there today and showed a new commitment to PlayStation fans. It's about time."

"Any experience that sits in the realm of motion play needs to be kept separate from the main experience."

"It needs to be firewalled off so that if this experiment isn't for you, or doesn't turn out to be all that great, you just ignore it."

"Any new experience we add, we need to be able to protect this experience. I like the stuff they're doing with Mass Effect 3, in terms of making some of the interface aspects a little less thorny - more the squad commands than the conversation, as that's a bit of a challenge on the controller."

"What you don't want to do is add something in and enforce it on anybody. Do an experiment, fine! We're in the experimental stage, and people shouldn't be afraid of experimenting as long as we can firewall off and protect what we know works. If we don't experiment, we don't progress."

"I'm a hardcore gamer - I do most of my gaming on mouse and keyboard. I'm always open to new things, but I'm a really conservative guy at heart. I'll try it out slowly, but I'll be doing so very conservatively."
