A new title adding onto the Army of Two franchise, going by Army of Four, is a possibility. A voice actor for the game said so via You must login or register to view this content., which was posted by a You must login or register to view this content. member.

Here's what Mr. Flanigan (the voice actor), tweeted:

"Just signed on to do the new AO4 video game for Electronic Arts," he says, "Some splinter from Battlefield. Finally, my kids think I am cool again."

Even though both of these titles are military-based shooters, Army of Two is indeed NOT a Battlefield "copy". A tweet following the other, he acknowledges this, saying:

"Showing how distinctively uncool I am, I think I have those games mixed up."

A supposed third Army of Two title was hinted last year with a job listing to work on a newer game for the franchise, working for the Montreal branch of Visceral Games. At the time given above, EA would comment saying Army of Two is and continues to be a very important franchise for the gaming publishers.

2008's original Army of Two focused on two-player cooperative action. Gamers could play together online as mercenary protagonists Salem and Rios, or take control of one of the mercs in single player, with AI controlling the other character. Army of Two: The 40th Day followed up in early 2010 and is set during a fictional military attack on Shanghai.

The original Army of Two published in 2008 was a two-player cooperative action shooter. Gamers from all over could play together online as the games main characters Salem and Rios, or they could take the role as one of the protagonists in single player, while the other character was being controlled by a computer. Army of Two: The 40th Day was then developed early in 2010 and set during an attack on Shangai, China.

How do you feel about the tweet, and the information given? Is Army of Four a possibility? Or do you think something's wrong?

Indeed, however Army of Two hasn't been on my list of priorities to play, but news is news. Winky Winky
