A few nights ago, Danger Close revealed the storyline and main focuses when it came to their new title Medal of Honor: Warfighter. For both multiplayer and single player, the game is going to be presenting the teamwork throughout Tier 1 and their teams from 12 different counties.

Multiplayer, a mode where you have the opportunity to play as British SAS soldiers, Polish GROM forces, German KSK teams, and many more. All of this is stepping the game up from 2010's Medal of Honor, where the setting was Afghanistan, and the timeline was short, whereas in Warfighter, you will be deployed to multiple countries including Somalia and the Philippines. When you're playing missions, you will be playing as some familiar characters in the previous Medal of Honor, and you also get to team up with local allies, depending on which country you're playing in.

During the official gameplay demonstration, it shows us the brutal power of the Frostbite 2.0 engine, the very same engine supporting Battlefield 3, and gives us a plethora of different things. While you're silently making your way through a resident city that has been flooded in the Philippines, which was damaged by a monsoon, you're apart of the Task Force Mako and you wreck quite a bit of enemies, breaking wooden posts, tables, floorboards, and many more items in the environment.

While bullets are being shot through the water up to your knees on this level. And chandeliers and swining in every direction, which is a reaction to gunfire and explosions around you and them. After you save a group of hostages, the demo gave us a little taste of a boat chase through a local village that was suffering from the recent natural disaster, with both rain and bullets flying everywhere.

One thing that's noticed is how the elements shown off in the game are similar to most modern day shooters, and even one main character looks like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's very own Captain Price (the similarity is the hat and beard). The developers are basing this game on the respect toward actual warfare events and missions, but we cannot decide whether they show this by the short amount of gameplay.

Another thing that seems to be present is the "breaching" mechanic shown in Call of Duty titles. Where your character and another stands beside a door, kick the door open, and in slow-motion, you shoot the enemies inside as fast as possible.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter has been set to be released on October 23rd, 2012.

Level 2 Trustworthy
I wasn't gunna bother with another FPS Genre game or even this to be honest. But from stuff I seen last few days it looks pretty kool. I like they doing the same thing DICE do with their Limited Editon releases, NO EXTRA COST!!! Awesomeness.
