(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, my ps3 freezes while I play mw3, and it only happens during this game. I have a fat 80gb ps3 (backwards compatible) and after playing cod for an hour, it freezes and my ps3 has to go through a file check. It usually freezes on village.

My ps3 is an a well ventilated area so it won't overheat, I tried reinstalling mw3 (deleting game utility) and it still freezes. I am all out of ways on how to fix this. It gets irritating that it freezes and then goes through a 30 minute file check.

This happens ONLY on MW3.

im guessing you've tried this but ill mention it anyway.

try deleting everything to do with mw3 game data AND save data ,
turn off your ps3.
hold the power button till you hear 2 beeps , this will take you into the recovery menu , then select "Restore File System" once this is done turn your ps3 back off.
then turn on normally , check mw3 disc is clean then reinstall update and start fresh on the game.
