Ubisoft says that the inevitable yet unrevealed fourth instalment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise could very well be set in time before the upcoming Assassin’s Creed 3.
“It’s a question we’ve been getting a lot,” producer Francois Pelland told Metro

So Connor, the new protagonist to be featured in AC3, probably won’t stick around as long as Altair and Ezio did.
Assassin’s Creed 3 is due out this October for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U.
A release date for the PC and Wii U versions is as of yet unspecified.

My words about this thread: I hope Assassin's would never end. This Game-Saga is my personal Favorite. The Multiplayer is challenging too! But I just hope they shouldn't make Multiplayers. I just want more of the Storyline... After playing Assassin's Creed 2 I was over 5 times in Venice. I love the realism they add in their games and hope they will continue with the perfection of Assassin's Creed 2 in the newer games.
