I'm pretty sure you can. My friend got rid of his ps3 and he used his account on a different ps3 he still had his trophies.

just sign up on ps3 slim saying use exsisting account and u will have all ur friends and trophies

Trophies are stored on accounts, not the ps3 so you will have to use your account that has the trophies on it when you get your PS3 Slim.
