Looks like the ps3 game genie will allow you to apply cheats to your own game saves. There were talks about it coming out in April 2012 so lets wait and see.

Nothing was impossible. Cheating was very Easy, without using any Software or Resign something.

I think the main difference between Xploder and Game Genie is going to be that Xploder REQUIRES an Internet connection to resign saves. Will Game Genie require this as well? If so, then the hell with buying it.
