(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Do you guys think it even matter if games looks a tiny bit better than top notch console games? In my opinion Uncharted 3 looks phenomenal and I don't feel that any better graphics would make the game better. Sure maybe a constant 60fps would be nice but it seems just fine the way it is. I'm sure in years to come graphics will improve substantially, but I don't see the point in buying a super awesome PC. For those of you that do have a gaming PC, why did you feel the need to spend that much money instead of $300? Are the differences in graphics that apparent?

I agree and disagree. I think gaming is just fine the way it is right now with the graphics on the PS3. Like you said, sure it would be nice to have even better graphics but I've made in 4 years now with the graphics from the PS3 and have no reason to really complain.

However, buying a PC for gaming is more about the power you can get behind it. Of course you can get better graphics but also just the fact that you can run certain games at 150 FPS without lag what so ever is a pretty nice feature to have.

I'm not a big PC gamer myself though, so for now I'm just going to stick with the PS3. :y:

Yeah I can see that. I would buy a powerhouse pc if I had the money, but because I don't I have a ps3 that I'm perfectly satisfied with.

I have a PS3 and I have always been a console gamer. However, I recently started getting into PC gaming,
and I have to say it is much better. Also to talk about your point, PC gaming isn't so much about the visuals,
its about the sheer power that comes from the machine that consoles just simply can't match.

If it's not about the visuals then why do you need the "sheer power"? Not being rude just curious

Because of the power of a good PC, you get the bonus of the superb visuals. Also, the FPS cap is non-existent if you have the right
hardware. Everything is just smoother and crisper.
