Post: My Ps3 won't update
04-06-2012, 06:28 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); When I turn on my Ps3 it tells me to connect the controller and press the Ps3 button then press start and select to check for system software when I do everything the Ps3 tells me to do it doesn't update show some error and tell me to contact technical support.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Also if I use another HDD from a Ps3 with firmware 3.15 will that solve this problem or do I send it to get fixed?

I would thank you but I don't know how sorry.

Haha you just hit the button but it's no big deal. Rep doesn't really matter. Good luck though

I already did that and the Ps3 HDD can't be corrupted since it's a new HDD. also when I go into recovery mode and try to rebuild the Ps3 file system it tells me that the HDD can't be accessed.

Just because its a new one doesn't mean it can't be corrupted Winky Winky I've had some faulty equipment come
right out of the box before, so its a possibility, yes a small one, but still a possibility. And I've never heard of the HDD
not being accessed through recovery mode  Try taking the HDD out and putting it back in again. Could be something
simple like that.
