Capcom recently released some details about their upcoming game, Resident Evil 6 and
it's multiplayer modes.

As of now, Co-op multiplayer is making a return, in both online and split-screen options.
However, a change that is being implemented is the incorporation of a drop-in, drop-out
feature that will allow players to come and go as they please. So no more quitting, and having
to restart checkpoints or restart an entire chapter.

Mercenaries mode will return to the game as well, but will be available to play from the start without
having to unlock the mode. Capcom says that additional multiplayer options along with other co-op mechanics
are set to be revealed in the future.

The trailer below dubbed "C-Virus Trailer" shows some really intense action, and something that we haven't
seen before in any other RE game that I never thought would happen: Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy
going against each other.

Also, here are some screens that should make the game look even more promising.

I think the game looks amazing, even if Capcom isn't bring it back to its roots. How about you all?

The gameplay looks good to me, and I like the new added feature so that you don't have to back out and can continue on when your friend has to leave or other issues like that.

But it also sucks that it's going in to the direction of how RE5 was, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed playing that game, but as a kid, RE2 was one of my faves and played it over and over. Capcom should consider making a new RE with the old style of gameplay. That would be awesome.

I couldn't agree more Claps

RE2 was my favorite one from the series, and I remember staying up on nights end scaring the shit
out of myself because it was just that damn scary. I wish they would bring the game back to its roots,
but it should be a good game nonetheless.

I understand that you may think its going to be a bad game, but don't say "was" a flop because it hasn't
come out yet :p Who knows, maybe this game will suffice enough for the older generation of RE players to
enjoy Smile

Yeah, seriously, it's like even though you knew what was going to happen after playing it so many damn times, it never got old or lost its fear factor. That right there makes it an awesome game.

RE6 looks good, but just to play a game how RE2 was with today's graphics would be insane.
