I think that the first game itself was a pretty decent game. Running around in a sandboxed city and basically doing whatever you want did it for me. The only critical things that I did not like was that after you beat the game, there was pretty much nothing to do, regardless of any events that you may or may not have completed. You did, however, get the chance to start over the game with all your powers, but that makes the game so much more easier and repetitive.
Now onto Prototype 2.
The new character is You must login or register to view this content..
I think the main reason that I will be buying this game is because:
1-Pack leader - You can control a pack of Brawler Hunters- Similar to the Hunters in Prototype, but more dog-like.
2-Bio Bomb ButtKicker- You infect a person and walk away, then the person explodes.
3-New dodge and block system- You could not block in Prototype, only avoid the attack by running.
4-New dual wielding- Enough said. Two powers at once? Badass.
5-Improved visuals- SONAR vision allows you to ping your target, leading you right to them.
6-Dismemberment - Rip your enemy apart.
7-The new tendril power:
Im very much a parkour and free running enthusiast though so I loved the first game even with the extreme nature it took it too what with him being sooo freaking powerful I hope this game corrects that aspect the first game even though you had so much power you quickly could feel overwhelmed. If the main character is supposed to be so badass and powerful and was built to be all powerful why did you feel that way the whole game? Some times you just need to feel all that power and let loose this game does look like it corrects that.
