Capcom will release a Dragon's Dogma demo on Xbox Live Marketplace and the US PlayStation Store tomorrow, April 24, with the European PS3 version set to be available the 25th. Two of the games classes will be available in two playable challenges. Rumored to be Japans response to Skyrim, the developer had this to say, "A melee specialist skilled in both attacks and counterattacks, as the Fighter you will make your way through underground tunnels and chambers before taking on the deadly Chimera in a Prologue quest, set before the events of the main game.

"Swift and nimble, the Strider's weapons of choice are bow and daggers, use them well if you are to defeat the mighty Griffin in the open plains surrounding the capital of Gransys.

"Let your imagination run wild and design both your playable character and main Pawn using the game's incredibly in-depth character creation tools before you take on the Griffin; purchasers of Dragon's Dogma will then be able to export both these characters into the full game on its release."

I have been looking forward to this game since I heard of it, anyone else planning on downloading this demo tomorrow?

I can't wait for this what with the level of detail they have given to the NPC's, character creation, the "supposed" size of the open world not to mention the way it looks and the size of the bosses "alla the early E3 video with the giant multiheaded dragon". I can't wait this game seems like Japan's answer to both Skyrim and more like a ps3, pc, and 360 version of xenoblade chronicles that the Wii just got. Also if this demo gives ALL the customization options to import our characters ill probably have at least 3 to import by the games release.

It would be one of the best games of the year. I´m looking forward for the demo ....

This geam looks beast, finally a Japanese RPG reaching the West!

The demo was short but sweet. Could amount to something special.

Just so people know all the npcs have individual voice actors not stock voices and almost every npc is obtainable as member for instance if you want someone who is good at repairing weapons hire or quest a blacksmith, iron smith, or gold smith depending. Or if someone looks tough at a bar hire them. I can't wait literally hundreds of party member combinations could lead so much and so many different story combinations.

I found the demo really enjoyable, can't wait for the game to be released!
