Sony's "ripoff" of Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. series was announced today.

They're not copying and pasting the code from a Nintendo game into a PS3 game. They are developing their own engine. It's like if Capcom sued every other developer of 2D fighting games just because they made Street Fighter in the late 80s. It's like if id Software sued Activision for Call of Duty.
