(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); There Is A Way To Deactivate PS3 & PSP Systems via PC.

Note that you can only Deactivate All via PC once every 6 months

Go to:

You must login or register to view this content.

Click on "Manage Your Account"

This will take you to the Sony Entertainment Network Account Page.

Log in with your PSN login and click on the "Account" tab at the top.

Now click on the "Media and Devices" option on the left side of the window.

In the square that says "Games", click on the downward arrow below (or anywhere in the square) where it lists how many PlayStation systems you have activated.

Now click on the button that says "Deactivate All".

Read the message carefully and click "OK".

All PS3 and PSP devices are now deactivated.

Now log onto your working PS3 or PSP and activate it as normal.

Hope it helped. it helped me alot!!

Error… Cat invasion!
curious why you would want to do this.. *unsure* is this so if one of your playstations dies you can get another because Sony only allow your PSN account to work on 3 machines? :think:

I'm pretty sure they changed it from 5 to two systems, and it's sort of a preventive measure against game sharing, though since it's so easy to activate/deactivate accounts it only takes more time to game share.

TWO!?! Damn.. I have my older brothers PSN details on my PS3 and he has mine so that if one of us is after an addon for a game we check to see if the other has already bought it and if they have we grab it using their account, saves buying it twice! So basically I can't use my PSN details on another system? So if my PS3 were to die then I would have to deactivate my existing PS3 and then activate the new one? But.. what if my PS3 is glitchy so I buy another to replace it.. and want to transfer my files from one to another.. it can't be done? That sucks.. Imnot paying for a plus account, besides 100mb or however a small amount that it is that they give you is virtually nothing! Especially when I have a 2TB external drive sat on my desk! Hate protected game saves.. bought that xploder the other day, but that only allows me to copy TO my PS3 not from it.. hmm.. :(
