A juggernaut in its own right, this Da Vinci-inspired sequel has defiantly remained in its original November 17 release date -- just one week after the launch of Infinity Ward's megablockbuster.

Assassin's Creed 2 creative director Patrice Desilets recently stated in an interview with VG247 that Ubisoft isn't afraid of the latest Call of Duty title's proximity to its own holiday offering. He explained, "the first [Assassin's Creed] game we released two weeks after Modern Warfare, and we still sold 9m copies." That maybe true, but the first Modern Warfare didn't feature 50 Cent. You guys are totally screwed this time around.

I think Assassin's Creed 2 will actually do well. I personally thought the first game was a piece of s***, but I know A LOT of people that loved it so much they will get AC2 before MW2.

I was so disappointed by Assassin's Creed I'm not gonna touch the sequel, at least until every friend who'll buy it will swear it's good and sign it in blood.
Then I will only play it if they borrow me their copy or I find it for dirt cheap.

Honestly Assassin's Creed 1 was a very nice game, until you figured out stealth was useless and you could aggro and fight a whole town at the same time, you just had to time counter moves and even if you had 20 enemies on you, the would fight you one at a time.. and since you figured out that pretty soon in the game, the rest of the game was extremely boring and repetitive

they should be cuz there going to get shit for sales if you just spent $70.00 for MW2 im not going to spend 70 more for a game that i wont play cuz im to hooked on mw2

games are expensive nowa days and AC2 will get hurt if the do release it a week after mw2

AC2 = FAIL i dont know anyone that would buy MW2 and a week later be able to put it down for some crapy game the 1st one was stupid i played the 1st 2 lvls and never picked it up agian and what game did i put it down for MW they sold alot becasue not everyone was waiting on MW now i dont know one person that cant wait for MW2 to come

Its a completly different game. If it was a shooter, it would be terrified.
