(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); A German console website called PlayNation apparently have leaked documentation supposedly from Sony, here is a quote from said website:

Even prior to the times in the past called “Orbis” has been rumored as a code name for what Sony’s newest secret weapon, the PlayStation 4 is valid. Now an alleged data has emerged, which includes the development and launch date. Thus comes the next generation console during the 4th Quarter of 2013 in the trade. Furthermore, it is stated that the PS4 more than 10 GB and 10 GB of working memory has video and thus can have a respectable power. If that was not enough, a 2D 3840×2160 pixel resolution comes with the application, while 3D games, in full 1080p resolution, flicker across the screen.

It is noteworthy that PlayStation and PlayStation 2 and PS3 games on the PlayStation 4 are functional. The connection to the Vita and a new service called “Iris”, lists the data sheet. What do you think? Sony will let the cat during the upcoming E3 out of the bag?

10GB of RAM........hmmmmmm

Something smells fishy also am moving this to PS3 GD as it nothing to do with exploits or hacks
If that comes from a hardware manufacturer it may be true , right now am thinking it false

Added the source and edited the title Smile

This is probably an idea of what they want on the next console, but It may be about half of that in terms of hardware, especially 10GB of RAM. Hopefully the media format and the connectivity will be true, cause I prefer having 1 PS console able to play my old PS2 games and PS1, and for sure PS3 games. Also Sony said that the PS3 has about a 10 year life span, so the release date may not be correct, otherwise we would probably pay about 700 or more.

First of all, I think SONY is going with an AMD Processor and Radeon HD 7670.
Second, 10 GB ram is overkill for PC's, let alone consoles :dumb:
And a GPU running @ 2 GHz? I heard this company was going to bring out a GTX 580 @ 2 GHz but they never did.

Allthough, I'd be very happy if the specs above were true.
Release date seems legit D=
F#ck you xbox.

Believe me, SONY said that they won't make the same mistake as they did with the PS3 Phat.
They said next time they will use cheaper parts and won't make it (alot) higher priced than other consoles.
First PS3 was 600, they dropped to 400 but at that price they were losing money, therefore they made the slim.
The slim is made of much cheaper material, and if I'm correct, recycled. Not sure about the last thing though haha.

That I know, hopefully the real official specs won't be too bad.
