Post: Tritton AX Pro v1.5 HELP!!!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok I took my v1.0 Tritton AX Pro's back due to a short that occurred in them. In doing so I knew that I would be getting the v1.5 and was very excited but v1.5 have been nothing but problems. Okay so here is the question I have set the Pro's up exactly right b/c I've done it 3 other times before but I can never hear in-game chat at all. The PS3's XMB menu shows the mic is working fine and it has also been confirmed by my friends. The only way I can hear them is if I change the "TRITTON AX PRO" option in the output menu to "default device" but sounds crappy. I know for a fact that it should not sound like that. I've seen reports that it may be from Sony's latest patch 4.10 & 4.11 but can anyone solve this problem or confirm the updated firmware is causing the problem.

Check the USB wire that goes from your decoder box into the PS3. That USB wire controls all of the in-game chat sounds.
