I was thinking hopefully that Sony could make some software that u could somehow record gameplay on to your ps3 HDD, i reakon this will be great idea even if they sell the software on the psn store as a download and could be activated by the ps3 remote its just a sugestion but i think if they did all people wanting to make gameplay videos for YouTube etc..would buy it straight away.

So you're suggesting that Sony add a recording program to the ps store?

That could be a good idea but then they would need to add editing software ect, there is already a market for this, Capture Cards which allow you to record straight to your computer.

I'd quite like it, but it would cause a few issues.. How would you start / stop it? Awkward button combinations?

It'd probably cause the game to lag a little, if the PS3 is processing another program on top of the game.. Using the XMB would be a nightmare.

& if anything like that were to come out, I'll guarantee you it'd be on a PS3 firmware update (3.00 on September first (does NOT contain that))

Sony has it for their game devs and such to capture footage, so its there its a matter of making it public if ever.

Yes, they should have that and then instead of having to buy a capture card, you just send it to your computer via USB cable and edit/post on internet there. And, you could turn it on/off by pressing the PS button in game, and there would be an option in the video/game section of the XMB. Great Idea. Rep for you sir.

I was just gunna say that. Everyone would be so fascinated about it and would record every little thing and then their harddrive would be full a day later.

i thought because all these people(companys) making money of ps3/xbox gameplays so i thought why dont they step up and make a softwear like a inbuilt dazzle

I think it is a great idea, and I agree with King Jamie, this is a misleading title.

Lag much.....Yeah, this would be good but just buy a Dazzle or a Capture Card.
