So ive just seen this topic on why the ps3 may not becoming in next year.

The Xbox 360 might have found itself in the media spotlight recently, but for a change we’ve got some interesting news from the Sony camp about the PlayStation 4... The next generation of consoles is an unmissable piece of gossip in the gaming world at the moment, however both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360 have been heavily criticized by Nintendo. The reason for this criticism is the lack of graphical change that is expected compared to the jump from previous generations to the next. Well in response to this, Sony have hit back at the negative comments by stating that the PlayStation will not be announced until they consider the graphical leap to be up to standards. This news hints that the PlayStation 4 might even skip E3 2013 and wait until 2014 to reveal the next generation and the graphical leap promised. Some Sony fans may find this to be somewhat frustrating, whilst others who still believe the current generation has life left will enjoy this piece of news.

Im thinking the PS4 will support 4k Projectors/ TV's and fully 3D capable, i would rather pay for a console out later that offered a bigger leap in power/ graphics etc than a console that just came out because the other one was looking old. Go SONY

Yeah me too.
I would mind playing on my PS3 or my gaming pc until then...
I would obviously still upgrade my pc when that comes out and I bet it will be up to par with the PS4 but I still like the PSN community kinda more than the steam/origin/pc community...

Id also prefer it to be put on hold as i feel i haven't gotten my moneys worth with the ps3 there's still so much more to do on the ps3.

I hope it does come in 2013 but I don't want them to rush anything

well they did say the ps3 will last 10 years before needing a major update

I can't see PS4 coming any time soon do you think sony are going to make a 500$ system to make a hole new one after 4 years? :fa:

They well most likely show something coming in 2015 for 2016 or 2018 easy.

the later the better for me, I'm broke and need to finish all my ps3 games first
