(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys,
So I have a ps3 that is on an extremely old firmware. like 2.35. but, it has water damage. It turns on for a couple minutes but then it shuts down. Any idea on what I could possibly do? Thanks guys!

In Flames Much?
Going with it screwed. Water damage can be fixed if you dry out the system by taking it all apart and letting it dry.
As the water has already done that the damage has been done for good.

Depends how bad it is

Take it apart, dry it out, if that doesn't work it's done for good. Seeing as it's on a low firmware it must be an old model, and they are pretty useless when they get damaged, I say sell it on (faulty PS3's sell on ebay) and save up for a new one, don't think there's any way of getting this one back,

good luck :y:

do what the others say if not or you don't feel confident taking your ps3 apart try the putting the ps3 in an airing cupboard or take the parts out strip the ps3 down till your at the motherboard then put it all in the airing cupboard
