What could of happened? I have no warranty left. This also happened last year. Can someone please help? Has the motherboard fried?

okay hmm unplug it for 4 hours and then try it might need time if not phone sony and ask them what to do they will have a better knowlage

Its most likley your fuse in the wall got broke, not your ps3. They are made not to blow like that.

can't be the wall fuse coz my tv and everything else works

how bout you check your fuse box?
turn off and off your switch to your room

Have you checked if the cables on the back are connected?

yeah this happened to me it just went off and as soon as the thunder and lightning stopped i turned my ps3 on again and it worked fine.
