(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hi need help with fat ps3 80 gb my brother gave to me its got red screen of death and i , he doesnt know what firmware it was on can i find out what firmware it was on or shall i just install latest firmware on it will that work from debug mode ? .

ive updated the ps3 to firmware 4.21 but i still get the red screen of death any body help me please.

any one out there can help me with this problem plz , ive done all 6 options in the recovery mode still get a red screen of death changed 3 hard drives same thing updated to 421 firmware still same thing

Maybe a E3 flasher could help but not sure that would fix it. Sounds like a massive hardware problem

thanks for your help how would i find out if my blueray player is working or dead , i can load a disc and eject it.

if i get an e3 flasher and unbrick it can i take the e3 flasher and clips that go on the nor / nand and re use it on a diffrent ps3 or would i need a brand new flasher again.
