Transformers: Fall of Cybertron takes place right after the events of War for Cybertron. In the game you will be able to play as both the Decepticons and the Autobots. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is set to release for PS3 on August 21, 2012.

A couple of days ago Activision revealed the pre-order bonuses you can expect from select retail stores. The following pre-order bonuses were revealed by Activision.


-G1 Retro Pack-GAME Exclusive in the UK, GameStop in US: This exclusive content will let fans play as the legendary G1 Optimus Prime from the original 1980s animated television show (both in singleplayer and multiplayer) and wield the powerful G1-inspired Megatron Gun and Shockwave Blast Cannon weapons (in singleplayer campaign).

-Swoop-Play.com Exclusive: Pre-order from Play for an unlock code for Swoop, the Dinobots' legendary air ace in multiplayer mode. Dynamically change from Swoop's robot form to his powerful flying Dinobot mode to attack your opponents from above.

-G2 Bruticus Skin-Available at Independent Retailers including ShopTo.net in the UK, Amazon.com in US: Pre-order to get an unlock code for the G2 Bruticus Skin that will be available in the epic singleplayer campaign. True Transformers fans will instantly recognise the rare and vivid colors from the classice Bruticus toyline model.

Along with that Actvision also revealed when players will be able to get their hands on the multiplayer demo of the game. Players will be able to play the Fall of Cybertron Multiplayer Demo on PS3 on July 31, 2012.
