Tell Me What You Guys Think About This?

A new age rating system for video games has come into force.

It is designed to stop some games being sold to under-12s and give the industry more simple rules for rating games according to age.

All games sold in the UK will be regulated under the Europe-wide Pegi (Pan European Game Information) scheme.

Up to now, the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has provided certificates.

There will now be 12, 16 and 18 ratings as well as new diagrams on packaging showing what is featured in the games.

Couldn't their parents just buy the games for them then?

It wouldn't really stop 12 year old kids, they can get their parents to buy the game for them :( unless i read it wrong lol

It would be nice, at least no more annoying voices on games online >.< but what if they find a way to get the games..? i mean, they can ask to their parents or someone else.. Anyway, its a good start thought.
