(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so I have a ps3 slim and I was installing e3 flasher (fell asleep) and I believe the thermal paste dried out and got crusted now when I put it back together (took out e3 cause nor clip was broken) and turn on the ps3 it was fine but after 5 minutes it said ps3 has overheated plz turn it off immediately so i did.then i reopened the ps3 and cleaned out the dust. and put it back then turned it on and same thing happened but i didnt turn it off... it automatically shut down a minute later and when i turned the ps3 on again it fas checking for corrupted files. None thank god. i turned off after the check and now i am writing this. What should I do? Was it really that the therml paste dried out or could it be me not tightening all the screws enough. Also if I go but some thermal paste could i just clean the chips and put it on without the heatgun stuff? and if not can i use a blow dryer instead? (Not trying to pay ... want to do myself)

you have the exact same problem as me!
ok how to fix, get as fast as possible some thermal paste, open your ps3 put it on the chips andpress hard on the motherboard and metal board so there are not coming are bubbles in the paste
