I heard that it can be fixed by comparing trophies with a friend. I tried this and after 7 or 8 attempts the sync progress will raise by 1% on the next attempt. After a full day of doing this I have managed to go from 10% to 17%. Is there a faster way to fix this? Other than doing a system restore.

Dont think so , had my PS3 4Days syncing then it worked again ,)

What is your trophy level ?

And it really depends on your internet connection & speed , if your opening 10 youtube tabs , it'll be slow / error will come up obviously .

My trophy level is 14 going on 15 and I have an awful internet connection with a download speed less than 1mb. I didn't have any open tabs during the sync operation.

I'm level 21 and it takes 20 minutes only to sync , and yes , You probably never will get it synced with that download speed . You could take your PS3 to a friends home and leave it to sync , I can't tell you for how long , it all depends on the internet speed .

try this connect your ps3 with the Ethernet cable and start the sync step out the room watch some tv n go back!!!! trust i hate waiting for sync like when im doing plats for other people...

It is connected via an ethernet cable. Perhaps I didn't quite explain properly but when I sync it will go to 17% then an error will occur. After several attempts at syncing it will get to 18% and so on.

If you are continuously getting the 80022D05 error then you would likely benefit from rebuilding your database. This is not restoring or erasing anything on your HDD (except playlists and your message box). It simply rebuilds your file system. You should notice a HUGE difference in syncing your trophies. I am level 32 with over 7500 trophies and rebuilding database for me took my sync time from 20 minutes all the way down to 3 minutes. Hope this helps

i never pass from the 4% xDDD when the sync its on 4% its time to cancell it, but the trophies are synced.
