Hey man you have to open up the ps3 to fix it since it is a CPU/GPU problem and you will need

arctic silver 5 thermal compound - Radioshack $11.99

Heat gun - doesn't matter just need to have one to go up to 656 degrees Fahrenheit

isopropyl alcohol - to remove the thermal compound all ready on there

and a torx 10 screwdriver and a regular screwdriver
