(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});Earlier today several video-game themed websites jumped all over the news that there was another PSN breach. Although the only evidence of the breach was one singular tweet, the story erupted over internet and was shared instantly across the web.
The tweet that started it all came from @YourAnonNews, which stated “Yes, if you play PlayStation Network, you’re included <3.” So yeah, change your passwords, remove your credit card info from your account. Unfortunately, you know the drill by now”. This was enough information for over a dozen sites to start posting news of a possible intrusion.
Sony has confirmed that the PSN hack never happened stating, “We can confirm that the recent claim that PSN was illegally hacked & that customer PWs and email addresses were accessed is completely false”.
thanks, been telling people all day in the sb it was completly false. Course xbox users need to stop posting that "psn was hacked again lolusux" cause its misleading and not true...... just sayin :|
