(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey Guys!
Today Im Gonna Tell You How To Replace HDD's on your ps3 without formatting (better than data transfer if you want to host)

I've Only Tested This On A Slim PS3 Replacing it With A FAT's HDD, It Worked Perfectly.
Steps:

1. Turn Off PS3.
2. Make Sure You're HDD Compartment Is Open And The HDD You Want To Replace With Is Nearby.
3. Hold The PS3 Power Button Till You Hear '3' Beeps,After That Take Your Hand Off The Button.
4. Hold The PS3 Button Again Then You'll 2 Beeps, Then 2 Beeps Real Quick.
5. Connect Controller to PS3 Using a USB Wire.
6. Make Sure No Other USB/Pendrive Is Connected To PS3.
7. Go To System Update, Press SELECT And START, Then Quickly Remove Your Current HDD And Put The One From Your 3.55 / Whatever You Are Using.
8. Cut Off Power Supply To PS3 And Reboot.
9. Go To System Settings And System Info To Check If The HDD You Put In Was Detected.
10. ????
11. Profit!!!

I´ve seen this already somewhere before.
I wouldn´t try it. Messing around with critical points can´t be good.

Your Choice. Still Better Than Data Transferring. + You Can Keep Your Stuff NO Need To Backup.
And Yeah When Putting your Original HDD Back In Dont Forget To Repeat This!
