(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have an ASUS NT56u router plugged into my telus router. Ever since I switched to telus my nat is moderate type 2 on my asus but if i connect to my telus router its open. how do make my ASUS router 's nat open?

thats in your router you either need anew router or you need to go into your router settings

log in to your router and look for DMZ option and type in your PS3's IP Address... Make sure your PS3 has a static IP

Here is a BIGtutorial for youre question:
Windows Vista / Windows 7:
Go to the Start menu
Enter in 'search programs and files "" CMD ", and press [Enter]

A black screen will appear, now enter "ipconfig" and press [Enter]
The data are now coming forward

If the IP address and Default Gateway listed, use the following steps

1. You go into the main menu of your PS3 to: Settings> Network Settings> Internet Connection Settings
2. Make sure your PS3 using an Ethernet cable is connected or a wireless network is available
3. Select [Yes] when a confirmation screen will appear indicating that your Internet connection will be disconnected
4. Setup method, select [Custom]
5. Connection Method, select [Connection cable] or [Wireless]

> If you are using cable connected go to step 9 <

6. WLAN settings, select [Scan]

A list of available networks will emerge, select your network and record the type of protection of the specific network.
Note that the signal strength is good. This belongs to stable online gaming close to 100% to sit.
You can change the location of PS3 or Router adjust the strength to promote.

7. SSID, you should not change it, press the right arrow to continue
8. Select the security type and then enter the network key if necessary, press the right arrow to continue

> Go to Step 10 <

9. Usage mode, select [Auto Detect]

10. IP address setting, select [Manual]
11. Enter data via the PC are collected here:

IP address:
The IP address you have requested via the PC, the last digit must be increased by 20.
For example: 192.168.1.3 is then 192.168.1.23

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Must be
Default Router: This IP address is the same as on your PC as the default gateway is specified.
Primary DNS: Enter "208.67.222.222"
Secondary DNS: Enter "208.67.220.220"

If you have a modem, the functionality or service provider, you may wish to contact the SCE Support Center for questions.

12. IP address setting, select [PPPoE]
13. Enter the username and password, your provider has to provide you
14. DNS setting, select [Manual]
15. In "Primary DNS": 208.67.222.222, enter in "Secondary DNS": 208.67.220.220

16. MTU, select [Auto]
17. Proxy server, select [Do not use]
18. UPnP, select [Enable]
19. You will now see a summary of your settings.
20. Select [Connection Test]

A test report will appear:

IP Address:
If "timeout" can be the best possible network key check for accuracy.
If "Failed" is the IP address of the default gateway to verify.
