any porgram / way to know the e-mail someone is using for ps3?

I called PSN when i lost my password and email and they just asked me the SN of my playstation and check to see if it match the recent logs on my psn account and they sent me an email to my desired email to have everything reset.

do i give them the serial number of the ps3 i sent it
