(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm thinking of upgrading my PS3 hard drive (160gb is too small :p), and was wondering if there's a way to back up everything, including gameshared games. I heard it's not possible, so I'm not sure whether this is true or not. Thanks in advance.

if you do a backup, it will back up everything on the hdd (except drm saves). if you've got gameshared content on there, i think you'd have to re-activate it. but, it will be in the backup file.

I see, it kind of sucks you'd have to reactivate things though, as it might be hard to get older gameshares to be reactivated.. Any other responses?

You talkin to me?
I'm pretty sure it isn't possible. What I would recommend you do it to just back up your PS3, and hope it goes to 100% (never has for me...).. if it doesn't, then simply manually copy the important stuff (games saves and the like), DEACTIVATE ALL YOUR ACCOUNTS, then swap the drive and reactivate all accounts, and re-download all the stuff.. I HOPE there's an easier way, but that's what I do.. :/
