I defeated!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am unable to data transfer from my 3.55 to my OFW and vice versa, I have transferred many times before with no problem but now it says that there is no ethernet cable plugged in and I have tried two different ethernet cables and tested them both and confirmed that they are working.

Hurah!
Then the ps3 has problems reading ethernet cables.
Make sure to have a 4.25 spoofer on. If you can't get the ps3 to read the ethernet cables you got no other options then transfer via hamachi which takes shitload of time and are hard to understand.
If you got guarantee on it you should sent it to rep and they'll fix it. (Not sure if they uptade their firmware or not but most likely not as they don't have to turn on the ps3.
Good luck.

So heres an easy fix i picked up some time ago, works 100% each time for me.
1) turn on both systems (make sure ethernet cord is plugged in before hand)
2) navigate to the data transfer option on both systems
3) On the system you are transferring to hover over "transfer from another system to this system" option
4) on the system you are transferring from go through the process until you reach the screen where it displays an Ethernet cord. If it asks you questions about deactivation or trophies before this screen simply hit "no" for both.
5)Now that both systems are on the separate screens make sure you have both controllers (for each system in hand)
6)Now all you need to do is hit the X button on the controllers at the same time, or if not the same time then do the 4.25 system first then the other RIGHT after (almost instantly)

Using this method it ALWAYS connects for me. give it a try and let me know how it goes. Happy

That is the method that I usually use, but it's not working anymore for me.

hmm strange check and make sure that your cord is completely in both systems and that you have it plugged in before you turn them on, if that doesnt work still, then im not quite sure sorry..

Yea, that happened to a friend of mine. Sounded like a hardware issue to me back then, though I hope you figure out a workaround.

Does anyone knows why every time I try to transfer from 3.55 to 4.25 says that I need to update my system? I just updated my 3.41 system to 3.55 cfw so I never had this problem before.
