When you launch the new PlayStation Store you are taken to a "What's New" section of the store, which acts as the homepage. A category rating system has been introduced, which see's the introduction of "Top Rated" and "Most Popular Charts" making it easier to find the best content on the Store. In addition, the search function has been modernized with an autocomplete function, which allows you to find the content you want by typing just three or four characters into the search bar!

As seen in the image above, the design of the Store has been given a more HD look. When you are scrolling through the Store, a "hero" will be highlighted for each page you visit in the various sections. Product Images now contain key info about the product, eg: title, price, platform and content type.

Content is now clearly separated in the new Store, with Vita, PS3 and PSP content in their own clearly identifiable sections. New and improved filtering options allow content to be displayed by price, release date, name, online multiplayer, 3D, Move, PS Eye etc.

The german sto re got the update last week and didnt go back to the old one, all other stores did lol

The date is 23th of October. The store is great btw!

The store was delayed by Sony a while back, ever since they have not said when US is receiving the new store.

modern, now let's go spend some money!
