10-25-2012, 10:30 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I bought a ylod ps3 off of eBay about a month ago. It has been sitting in my room ever since.

I was hoping maybe someone could offer me a YLOD repair and downgrade service.

I will only trust users with 2000+ rep, and must send me an eBay buy it now link.

What I can Offer:

$20 PayPal

5 Games worth $10 each.

Battlefield Bad Company 1 AND 2

World at War

Grand Theft Auto

Infamous

If you do make the eBay auction, please put it as $20 with the free shipping.

The $20 will cover shipping and the 5 games you can sell for $10 or keep.

No I don't want to do it myself. I'm lazy, plus I'm afraid I might break something or do something wrong.

Ylod is when something overheats and your ps3 doesn't turn on. Not sure what the actual thing is that overheats.

there is a temporary fix you can do just stick a pencil in the fans and turn on the ps3 until it turns off then turn it on without the fan jammed and its done

I used this kit and it took me 30 mins to do a quick fix. The Heat gun it self is worth at least 20 bucks, the tool set is sold for 20 by it self and the reset of the tools are worth 10 bucks so you save 10 bucks plus you can fix multiple ps3 and use the heat gun for other stuff.

when your ps3 gets a ylod is when the ps3 overheats so much that the solders beneeth the CPU/GPU crack and then they start to lose connections to the motherboard, if you want your ylod to be fixed you will need someone to reball the cpu/gpu solders then tada, easy as that and back to normal otherwise you can try to fix it with a hair dryer or a heat gun like the vids on youtube but they dont always work, you could try but if it doesnt work then youll reballing would work 100% unless the person is a fucking retard

are you fucking retarded enough to shove a pencil in your fan to test if it fixes it? who the fuck would do that anyway
