Do a barrel roll!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); so my ps3 was having major freezing problem so i decided to do a full system restore and it froze halfway through after letting it sit for a couple hours i just shut it off and when i tried turning it on it just goes to a black screen and the ps3 is super quite like its not even doing anything

what kind of restore did you do?
the one wich wipes allmost everytinkg wich can take up to 14 hours
or just the fast data wipe wich will be done in 20 mins

i did the full one left it one for about 24hours i just looked though the forums and say the oven fix i might try that but kinda seems sketchy putting my motherboard in the oven

ohh the freezes were happening every 30mins or so even if i wasnt doing anything so i think it froze during reformat

it could be the HDD, can you boot the ps3 up in recovery?

no i cant boot it up in recovery or safe mode just goes to a blank black screen

The GLOD is indicative of an either dying RSX chip or that you need to reball the RSX.

i dont have a heat gun do you think the oven trick would work
