To be totally honest, you might have deserved it. Give Sony a call, blame it on your little brother or something, and if they don't buy that then learn how to spoof your MAC address. If you were banned for gamesharing (more probable), then just call Sony, ask how long your ban is, and pay your fine if you get one.

Well you must have done something bad to get console banned. If you are positive you did nothing to deserve it, then call Sony. If you do and they give a good reason why it is banned or if you know you did something bad, then buy a Slim; Every once in a while check the old one to see if it works, then when it does you can either sell it or keep it so when a friend is over you can play PSN together.
