I just bought a superslim yesterday, and wow it makes so much noise when you play a game, the cd rom is soo loud on it, is that normal or is just my ps3? Its getting really annoying, my phat ps3 is much quiter than this superslim, is it usually like this or is it just my ps3? Please let me know guys

Probably because the the only thing over top of the disc tray is super thin so of course your going to hear the drive reading disc etc.

So it's rather loud? Damn, I thought buying the 350GB one was a good idea.

When i am using my ps3 slim i really have never noticed it being so loud where it is annoying
