(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey...

I have a fat 40 with 2 usb ports. I have a very cheap 4-1 Usb splitter. It works just fine on the PS3 and on my laptop. Problem is, when I plug my Trittons into it, The PS3 kicks up a Unknown USB Device Has Been Connected message and the message doesn't go away, it just keeps on flashing. My simple fix is just plugging my Trittons into it's own port, and the splitter with external hdd and controller into the other one.

I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar problem and has any way around it. It's definitely not the biggest problem in the world, just curious on what might be causing it.

I also have tried each port on the splitter.

Hmm... My Tritton's are the newest model that is powered through the usb. Earlier models, connected to a wall adapter for power. I wonder if it's grounding it self out or something.
