Ive tried it but when i turn it back on it automatically goes to the update again :/

Nope it didnt work.. it just keeps downloading and like at 50 percent it stops..

Try turning the PS3 off from the Plug & Alos turn off your router, Try waiting a few minutes and turn it back on.
If still doesnt work you'll probably have to jump on you pc and enter your ip in address bar then you block the PS3 System from your router. Turn on the ps3 see if that works... Hope it works out !
