1. If I buy a current OFW off someone I know, could I "downgrade" it to the latest CFW?
   
2. Could I play online with the latest CFW without having to worry about getting banned?
   
3. Could I somehow "install" brand new games, like Black Ops 2, and play it normally like if it was OFW?
   
4. If I buy a PS3, would someone here be nice enough to walk me through the steps to get the PS3 on the latest CFW?

Depends, none of the new super slims can be downgraded. Old Slims up to CECH2XXX can be downgraded and all phats can be downgraded. Not an easy procedure though

Only a small risk of getting banned with CFW, there was a recent "ban wave", seems it mostly affected people who played BO2 backup

Can play every game to date on CFW, BD drive emulates the ISO so it looks like original

Sure, once you have downgraded its simple. If you cant downgrade, either buy one on 3.55 or get someone to do it

Thanks for your help. I found someone on Craigslist that lives in my town that's selling a:

1. Slim PS3 with one controller
   
2. controller grip
   
3. Stranglehold(Game)
   
4. Mafia(Game)
   
5. MW2(Game)
   
6. All the cables
   

All that for a total of $100!!! That's REALLY cheap. I asked them if they still had it and i'm waiting for a reply now. I'll let you know what they say. Also, thanks for your help. It means a lot that a loyal trustworthy member like yourself replied.
