what happens is i have my ps3 off, my internet works perfectly fine.
as soon as i turn on my ps3, my internet stops working on my computer, my iphone, ipad, i cant even connect to my router from my computer. so everything stops working, EXCEPT for the ps3.
as soon as i turn it off, everything is back to normal.

I reset my router settings back to factory defaults, and nothing happened, still the same exact problem.

Today, i wanted to watch a movie from my ps3 hdd, but i wanted to ues the computer at the same time, so i disabled the ps3 internet, and my computer internet still wasn't working, i turned off the ps3, and it worked again.

I have no idea what the problem is or how to fix it, any suggestions?
i have a 2wire router, ive had it for over a year now, and i have at&t u-verse.

edit: the weird thing is, i connected my ps3 to my phones internet, (not my house internet)
and my house internet STILL stops working when the ps3 is on.
soooo i have no idea what the fuck the problem is.

What type of router do you have??? I am having very similar issues... But, it's not the ps3 causing the problem for me.

so your ps3 is on wireless? if it is try to connect it wired by connecting a ethernet cable from your laptop connected wireless to your ps3

Try calling your internet provider?

Here is a couple things to try...

1) Turn off all apple products in your house... I mean all. Then turn your PS3 on.
If that doesn't work go to 2.

2) Turn off UPNP.

That's all I have for now without any further information from you.

i fixed it, i just set a static ip for my ps3 and now it works perfectly fine.
