Back in August, I switched to XBOX permanently and sold all my PS3 stuff. I tried selling my main account as well and one day, I got an email saying he'll buy it. He pretty much scammed me and got my account. So I called Sony and told them what happened and they pretty much said theyre not able to help me because all the information I gave them for the account didnt match up. So then they said that all they can do is send me an email to the ORIGINAL email I used to create the account, which I know(I think), so I can change the email and password. But, I haven't gotten any emails at all from Sony.

Now, my question is, since i'm not getting the emails from Sony that they said they sent, is it because I unsubscribed to their emails in Account Management on the PS3?

Like I said, i'm 80% sure I know which email I used to create the account. I even checked all the emails I can think of and i havent gotten anything from them. I even checked on CoD Elite if the guy that scammed me has played on my account recently and he hasnt. I remember him telling me that he wasnt able to sign into the account either becausee the email and pass changed. This was after I contacted Sony and they sent me the emails.

SEN account!? Are you talking about the account I was scammed for? I dont have access to it at all.

If you unsubscribe to Sony's newsletter, you will still recieve emails regarding your accounts, or if you request something. You just won't recieve anymore Sony news. Updates, new titles, upcoming events etc...

then you are out of luck man just phone Sony again and tell them you account password got stolen and you cant access it also make up a story that your ps3 is not working and you want to use the account for ps vita. don't say you gave it to a dude as account sharing is strictly against sen tos!!!
