(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so I've never had this problem before but since about early November this problem arose and it's really starting to piss me off because it's so annoying.

I have my PS3 hooked up to my tv with an HDMI cord, however, for the sound I have some nicer speakers on my desk so I run the component audio cords to the speakers. I've never had a problem with this before. I just change the display settings on the PS3 to HDMI out and the sound settings to Component Out and it works beautifully...I've done it this way for over a year now.

But all of a sudden recently every time I start the PS3 up the sound no longer works and the only way to get it working again is to hold down the power button when I power on the PS3 to reset it and then I have to manually change all the settings again. It does this EVERY TIME I start it up.

Has anyone else had a problem similar to this? I've tried looking all over and I can't find a fix for it.
