For Christmas, I got a Hauppauge HDPVR to record my game play. Well, I just went and bought the PS3 component cable so it would work, and the quality is shit. Absolute pure shit. Anyways, it cost $200, so I got to looking around, and I seen the Hauppage 2 HDPVR with HDMI outlets, but apparently, that's to support to the Gaybox because PS3 is gay. So I'm asking to the ones who have the Hauppage 2 HDPVR if it's worth swapping? I read some reviews, and it didn't mention whether or not if the 2 was better than the 1 when it came to quality. I recorded 5 seconds of AC3, and saved it in HD via Windows Movie Maker, but when I uploaded it to Youtube, and watched the quality in HD, it still didn't look good. What's your advice?

You should check out the Elgato it seems to be better
