(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); as i was testing for spots to make a solder point for my ps3 custom led lights i came apon 3 lights that gave a constant power but only came on when it was grounded. the three are 2 blue and one red HIDEEN FROM TOP VIEW of the power eject clip. now what confuses me is why are these three led lights here yet never on. i gave preview in the video how to make them work but still makes me question. why are these lights here and what are they used for? i do not know if other models have these for i have not took the time to test.
there are pics below just open in a new tab or window to view. My only question is, does any one have any idea what these lights where for?

i can tell you exactly what they were for, you notice the plate has a clear spot that goes from where the LED's are to the end by the power button, they probably never finished it, but i assume that when you turn the PS3 on the LED's were supposed to light up that spot so it illuminated across the bottom of the disk slot. ive wanted to put LED's on that spot to make it glow but never got around to doing it, looks like i dont have to do it after all.
